DAVID SINCERE MUSIC
Mission
Queenz Finest was established to maintain excellence
and musicality in the presentation of dance in music video while
promoting and preserving the deep roots of hip hop culture that exists
in Queens neighborhoods. Artists of all disciplines engage in
collaborative explorative, development and performance activities with
the intent to find their voice, hone their skills, meet new people and
create high quality work that represents the nature of work presented by
pioneering creatives of the Queens hip hop generation.
Project Description
Trust
the Process is a community jam session designed to be an inclusive safe
space for Queens artists to share their art of ANY kind with others or
just come through and listen. A fun and positive outlet for everyone, no
matter their skill level or background. Due to the current
circumstances, we will hold the jam sessions online via Zoom, Clubhouse,
Facebook and YouTube. The virtual version is more of a song circle,
where artists perform solo for one another and chat about their
art-making. The social need is served, as we are creating community via
an open and supportive environment. The Clubhouse rooms occur on a
daily basis and are moderated by one or more of our 46 members. Artists
join the room, await their turn, receive feedback from listeners, and
engage as part of the audience in the interim. Zoom sessions are
scheduled in accordance to project schedules and needs occurring daily,
weekly or monthly depending on the circumstance. Collaborative
presentations and recordings of sessions are broadcasted live on YouTube
and Facebook for a broader audience of both artists and patrons of
creativity. The process is fun and helps artists to explore and fine
tune their work.
